Lens
====

*Automated data exploration*

Lens is a library for fast data exploration. Lens automatically provides
statistics and visualisations on the quality, structure and correlations of
your data.

Lens can be accessed from Python by importing the ``lens`` library, which comes
preinstalled on Faculty servers. See `the docs <https://lens.readthedocs.io/>`_
for `a tutorial <https://lens.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorial.html>`_ and
`API documentation <https://lens.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api.html>`_.

Faculty also runs Lens on CSV and TSV files uploaded to `Datasets`. To use this
feature, select the file in `Datasets` and select `LENS` in the upper right
corner. Once the report is generated, you'll be able to explore the report in
the Faculty UI:
